Happy Woman’s Day

Ada Lovelace

To celebrate Woman’s Day I thought I would highlight an amazing woman born in 1815 on December 10th. She is the only (legitimate) daughter of Lord Byron and was a mathematician. She worked with Charles Babbage on his mechanical general-purpose computer – the Analytical Engine. She also wrote the first algorithm intended to be used on the machine. That is pretty amazing!
